Prof Huamin Zhou received his PhD in 2001 from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. Currently, he is a professor and vice chairman of Material Science and Engineering Department at the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, vice-director of the State Key Laboratory of Material Processing and Die & Mold Technology.
Prof Zhou participated in a number of research and industrial projects from 2001. He is currently involved in four NSFC projects. He has authored and co-authored more than 180 papers in academic journals and 11 chapters in technical books and textbooks. His research focuses on numerical modeling and simulation, especially with regards to BEM and FEM for materials processing.
