Dr Robert Adey is the Head of the Industrial Research Division. He is also Director of Strategic Developemnt at CM BEASY Ltd and editor of the International Journal Advances in Engineering Software. During the academic year he presented a series of seminars, short courses and lectures at different establishments across Europe and the USA. Dr Adey is involved with a number of industrial projects.
He has been involved in successful projects for numerous companies including the Ford Motor Co., the Naval Surface Warfare Center and Rolls-Royce, GKN Westland Helicopters. Dr Adey has over 20 years working experience with engineering software systems. He is also the editor of the international journal Advances in Engineering Software and has written and edited a number of books on computational methods applied to engineering problems.
